Here I am getting ready to head to Amsterdam, to speak at SDC with some of my favorite RDs and speakers - Richard, Stephen, Clemens, Cathi, Paul, Ken...who am I missing? Anyways I dared to pop my head on IM and Richard pings (already in Amsterdam) so we get into this discussion about connecting multiple machines (without a network) for demos...something I need to do in the near future...and hadn't researched my options yet. Of course, Richard knows all and plans to transfer is super powers to me at SDC (thanks) so I can know *some* of what he knows. I will post how I connected my (lame) tablet with my (super powered) laptop for a cross machine Web services demo...after Richard gives me the networking goods...he rocks. No more silly single machine Web services demos for this girl...well at least not (ahem) when I need to run BEA and .NET and IBM with reasonable speed.
